The digital page as an object, 1993 to now: the firm’s website, the newspaper’s site, the inbox with its open message, the bank’s account page, a search result, a blog, a magazine article, a forum thread, a sign-in page, the page that is not there — in the look of the year, inside a browser of the year, with the production’s own names — and the screens that are not pages: the dial-up board before 1993, the mail program in its own window, a bedside monitor, an ultrasound frame.
